Pastor Jessie Simmons

A great man of God passed away today; Pastor Jessie Simmons.  I didn’t know him well, but I did know, like everyone else in the SC Conference and throughout the IPHC, this man’s reputation of high character, great integrity, and passion for Jesus and his Kingdom. I had met him on a few occasions, but [...]

Vision of the SCIPHC

On Monday, June 28th, Bishop Greg Amos spoke at the early morning session at Camp Meeting about the vision he believes God has given to him about the SCIPHC.  Here’s the video. Sadly, I don’t have the slides he presented.  If I can get my hands on them, then I’ll share. If you’re a part [...]

Talent Quest Competition

This weekend is the annual SC Conference Talent Quest competition held in Lake City.  Life-Givers Ministries is sending 16 juniors (9) and teenagers (7) to participate in 5 categories.  This is huge for LGM considering that LGM didn’t have any competitors last year and 16 this year. I’m extremely excited for the performers.  I remember [...]
