Right-Brained vs Left-Brained
Each person is either right-brained or left-brained. This just means that each person predominately uses one side of their brain. They may use the other side, but there is only one dominate side.
After taking a few online tests to determine which side of my brain I use the most I got an answer that confused and aggravated me. Apparently, I’m both. Both? I don’t understand it either, but I’m getting mixed results from every test. All three tests pointed to me using both sides of my brain equally. Maybe this answers my question of why so many people don’t understand me.
Anyhoo.
Does anyone else know which side of their brain they use the most?
Bridgett Is Home
After a long week, Bridgett is finally home, and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t like being away from her.
She spent last week at Teen Camp at Camp Robinson, and now it’s time for me to hear some stories of what happened last week and for her to rest. Not much rest she’ll get anyway, because we’ll be packing up again to head out to Junior Camp next week.
Go 8Bit Yourself
I love random non-useful tech stuff.
Browsing through Google Reader I came across a cool website that let’s users create an 8-bit version of themselves. It’s called 8Bit Yourself.
Here’s an 8Bit version of me.
Haha! Cool.
By-the-way, show me yours!
Hat tip to ChurchCrunch from the 8Bit network.
I Wish I Hadn’t…
Fill in the blank. I wish I hadn’t ___________________.
That blank isn’t big enough for what I want to fill in it.
Too many people live with too many regrets, but most of these regrets are the result of being too stubborn to listen to someone else’s advice. They were only trying to help, but nooooooooo it had to be done your way.
Stupid, right!
Maybe next time we’ll listen.
Steak Night
Last Friday night, my brother and I went to our pastors house for a steak dinner. Our wives would have joined us (and eventually did), but they were busy with other plans. It was cool though, because we had a great time eating, conversing, laughing, and generally enjoying each others’ company. It was refreshing, and generally a good time.
Do you ever have these times where you just sit back and enjoy someone’s company? When was the last time you did just that?
