Don’t Tell Me Kids Have It Easy

One truth I’ve learned: Everybody has dealt with a huge life issue.  Even kids. Amazing, right? I’m way too guilty of believing the tall-tale that kids have it way too easy, and in some ways they do.  But that doesn’t exempt them from dealing with some major issues, such as: divorce, abortion, sexual molestation, betrayal, [...]

Hotel 14 at Camp Robinson

Each day at Camp Robinson a guy’s and a girl’s cabin are awarded the Best Cabins for the day.  My cabin was #14.  This was my camper’s video to help us win on Thursday (and we did).

I’m Back

Teen Camp at Camp Robinson was awesome.  God showed up and showed off this past week.  I spied with my little eye God saving, sanctifying, baptizing with the Holy Spirit, loving, bringing students (and adults) out of problems, and more. I thank God for what He’s done and is doing.  I’m already missing my campers.

Camp Robinson 2011

Right about now, Bridgett and I are on our way to Teen Week at Camp Robinson.  This is an exciting time for us.  We get to see old friends and meet new ones with the other camp leadership.  We also get to make a difference in the lives of our campers. This week, we will [...]

I’m Going To Camp!!!

What’s amazing is that we weren’t even trying to go to camp this year.  [...]

Last Monday, I couldn’t post my weekly Rewind blog entry because I was away from an Internet connection at camp.  And, I couldn’t post one this morning, because I didn’t have an Internet connection again.  So, to make up for my extreme tardiness, here are #38 and #39 of my Monday Morning Rewinds listing my [...]

Back Home

Bridgett and I are now home from camp. We were blessed with meeting new friends, and getting to minister to over 100 kids. Well, not all of them. We had a lot of help. Junior Camp was great. Thank you to our camp director, deans, counselors, helpers, and staff. Everyone’s work was extremely important, and [...]

Camp Robinson Clean-Up Day

Today is Camp Robinson Clean-Up Day.  Bridgett took her youngest brother, her nephew, and Lexi (a Beyond Youth student) with her to help clean up the camp prior to Teen Week, which is next week.  There’s a lot of work to do, but from what I’ve been told a lot of people were coming to [...]

Camp Robinson 2010

Well, camp season starts at Camp Robinson tomorrow morning with a camp clean-up day.  Many people throughout the SCIPHC will be arriving to clean up the entire camp to prepare for the first week of camp.  I wish I could be there, but I’ll be working. Why would I want to go up there to [...]
