I’m falling in love with the new site IYAMCHEAP.  There, users submit short stories of their pursuits in saving money by some smart and creative means.  Stories like:

I extend the life of my bars of soap by saving the bars once they get down to slivers. Instead of throwing them away or trying to awkwardly use tiny slivers, I put them in a bowl until I have quite a few. Then I grate them all up, add just a little bit of water until the flakes stick together, mold them into a bar and let them dry. Instant new bar of soap! It also floats! IYAMCHEAP.
