Better vs Good

Bridgett doesn’t like fortune cookies from Chinese restaurants (she’s weird, I know, but I love her) so I took hers the other day.  The fortune stated,

“Better is the enemy of good.”

Wow! One of the best fortunes I ever received.

Too many people never strive for what’s better, because their satisfied with good.  Some of them want better, but settle on “good enough.”

Let me clarify. I’m not talking about things or stuff. I’m talking about life. I’m talking about life with God. I’m talking about people who settle for a little bit of God believing that a little bit it good.  And it is.  But more of him is better.  And I want more and more and more.

Never be satisfied with a little bit of God. There’s plenty to go around. He’s wanting to give you more and more and more of himself. Take it!
