I was saddened to hear that Oral Roberts passed away yesterday due to complications with pneumonia. He was a great man, and I believe that he will be missed by many people. Please pray for peace and comfort to his family and friends.
Since I’m only 27 years old, I don’t remember much about him, but I remember first learning about him while taking an IPHC History class. Oral Roberts was a minister in the Pentecostal Holiness Church before resigning due to a disagreement and forming the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association.
He was someone that I wish I could have met on Earth. The stories this man must have been able to tell, and just to be able to sit and listen like a grandchild to his grandfather would have been a wonderful experience.
