“Today we celebrate our Independence Day!” – From the movie Independence Day.
With today being the 4th of July, Independence Day, the entirety of the United States will be celebrating the freedom and liberty we have attained because of the sacrifice and convictions of our founding fathers. I, too, will be celebrating my freedom; freedoms to be more exact.
“Freedoms?” you ask. Yes, freedoms.
Today, I will not only celebrate my freedom by being a United States citizen, but my freedom by being a citizen, nay a son, in the Kingdom of God. That’s where my true freedom comes from, and it is the greatest freedom of the two that I have attained.
