Monday Morning Rewind #18, Afternoon Edition

Church February 1, 2010 | Comments Off | by Dewaine

Okay, so I didn’t post today’s Rewind this morning, and I’m kneeling at your feet begging for forgiveness.  Not really, but it was a good thought, no?

And now, for a special afternoon edition of today’s Rewind; my thoughts over this past weekend.

  • I was extremely excited to be at Life-Givers yesterday.  So excited that I stole an idea from Perry Noble during my welcome.  Not that it makes the thought invalid or incorrect.  Thanks Perry.
  • There were 11 Beyond Youth at Life-Givers.  So awesome.  That’s two consecutive Sundays that we’ve had more than 10 in attendance.
  • For those of you who are attempting to raise money for a cause, remember this: people will give if they believe in your cause and if they believe that you believe in your cause.  I’m learning that more and more.  (side note: I love giving people.)
  • Preparation is too important to ignore.  I learned that again.  Sadly.
  • If you don’t have plans for Sunday, February 14th, then you need to be at Life-Givers Ministries at 10:30am on that day.  The teenagers of the Crossover Drama Team who are competing in the SCIPHC 2010 Talent Quest will be performing a drama with a fantastic message.  It will change your life!

It’s been an extremely busy day today so please forgive me for posting this late.  Enjoy.
