Two words stuck out to me this morning reading Genesis 1. They were “Then God,” and I read them in verse 3. Here’s verses 2-3a, “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God…” (NKJV, emphasis mine).
